How do I make an emergency plan?

Ask your local council’s social care department to conduct a carer’s assessment for you and/or an assessment of the care needs of the person you care for.

Talk to family, friends and informal support network about the role they could play in an emergency or in providing care in the future.

Share the emergency plan with everyone involved so the plan can be put into action should an emergency occur.
